Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from RideShell via rideshell.co.uk. RideShell is a sole trader trading as RideShell. By placing an order you agree to these terms. This page is plain-language information for a small UK trader and is not formal legal advice.

The agreement

When you complete checkout and payment is confirmed, a contract is formed between you and RideShell for the goods described in your order. Product descriptions, options and prices shown on this site form the basis of the sale.

Products

RideShell makes 3D-printed protective cases for Garmin zūmo XT, XT2 and XT3 motorcycle GPS units. Cases are made to order. Current options include:

• Standard case — £15
• Sun & rain case — £22
• Optional pin protector — £5
• Optional securing latch — £5

A lanyard is included with every case. The mount / cradle is not included — choose standard or Touratech-style mount fit so the case cut-out matches your existing cradle. Colours and configuration are as selected in the shop. Images are illustrative; small variations can occur with 3D-printed products.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and shown on the shop and at Stripe Checkout. Payment is taken securely by Stripe. RideShell does not store full card details. Shipping is charged in addition where applicable — see shipping.

Shipping

Orders are printed and dispatched from the United Kingdom. Delivery options, rates and typical transit times are set out on the shipping page. Transit estimates are guidance, not guaranteed delivery dates. Production time for made-to-order goods is separate from carrier transit.

Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods should be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose. If something is faulty, contact us promptly at orders@mail.rideshell.co.uk with your order details and we will work with you on a repair, replacement or refund as the law requires.

Cancellations and cooling-off

Distance-selling rules in the UK normally give consumers a cooling-off period for many online purchases. RideShell cases are made to order (custom / bespoke 3D-printed goods configured to your choices). Once production of your configured case has started, the usual right to cancel for change of mind may not apply in the same way as for standard off-the-shelf goods. If you need to cancel and we have not yet started production, email us as soon as possible — we will be fair and confirm what is still possible. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty.

Returns and refunds

To discuss a return, refund or fault, email orders@mail.rideshell.co.uk with your order reference. Do not post items back without agreeing the process with us first. Returns for change of mind on custom-made goods may not be available once production has started; faulty goods are handled under your consumer rights.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, RideShell's liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to a reasonable amount not exceeding the price you paid for the goods in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Intellectual property

RideShell designs, branding, site content and product imagery remain our intellectual property (or that of our licensors). You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission. Garmin and zūmo are trademarks of their respective owners; RideShell is an independent maker of aftermarket accessories and is not affiliated with Garmin.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. UK consumers also benefit from mandatory consumer protections that apply in their place of residence where the law provides.
